When having an heavy loaded box and trying to put your stand on, there's a possibility to bend the junction between the pushing rod and the parking stand pedal like below. Luckily it's a part you can find in an hardware store or online with the beautiful name : M8 50mm 1.25 (coarse) thread Set Screw ( can be named pinol screw too)

First to avoid bending it again, like me, check again the manual on how to put the bike in the stand. Put yourself on the side, get the cargo bike in back motion, then apply pressure on the Parking Stand Pedal. The Cargo should hop in it's stand.

Changing the part

First we need to untighten the screw next to the plastic part. Then, we need to unclip the plastic fixation. You can do it by hand or using a flat screwdiver (check the images below to see how it clips). Next, remove the plastic clip by rotating it until the stand pedal is free. Watch out, 2 plastic washer should be there. To avoid loosing the part, clip it back with the two washers.

Unscrew the plastic part, it will reveal a hex slot that you can use to untighten the other screw. Use the Hex wrench to keep the threaded rod in place, and rotate the other wrench counter clockwise (I think the wrench is a 14 metric). Here you go, you should have freed it from the stand rod and be able to use your replaced part.

To put everything back together, do the opposite and you should be riding really soon again.
